Shamrock FC - Chaos preview

Returning Saturday to the Lumiere Place Casino is the next in Shamrock FC's pro/am series, an event titled "Chaos".

Shamrock FC offers a completely different experience from the other MMA shows in the area. The upscale club vibe created by the DJ and the impressive lighting setup leaves you wondering if you've accidentally stepped into the Pepper Lounge instead of an MMA event.

This sold out event features 12 fights on the bill including five professional and seven amateur bouts. Sitting on top of the card is four of Finney's MMA's best: Mike Brazzle, Lucas Lopes, Kevin Engel, and Finney's MMA wrestling coach and Knuckle Junkies columnist Ryan Sutton.

Mike Brazzle is riding a bit of a hot streak recently, and looks to continue this weekend when he takes on Alex McKinney in the main event. Brazzle will join teammate Kevin Engel at the top of the card, as the veteran of over 50 professional boxing and kickboxing matches takes on Danny Andrews. Not looking past his opponent, Brazzle has indicated a desire to take on both Chris Heatherly, and Strikeforce vet Sal Woods. We spoke to both Kevin and Mike:





Lucas Lopes takes on Kalel Robinson and Ryan Sutton takes on Robert Morrow. Sutton is now 1-1 as a pro, and look greatly improved over his first professional fight when he dispatched Ryan Scheeper back in April. We caught up with them both recently as they discuss their opponents, training, and their tough fight schedule for 2012:



The preliminary card is very intriguiing as it features three amateur female bouts including the return of "Mama Beast" Susie Wyatt. Wyatt has a slick ground game and this will mark her second foray into the cage. Also on the card is Andre's MMA standout Kain Royer. Royer will be taking on Timmy Tucker who is coming off a loss to Jake Dowdy in June.

Shamrock FC will return to Lumiere Place Casino on September 29th.
