Alp Ozkilic - UFC Fight Night 35

St. Louis' favorite slice of Turkish Delight is back in the UFC cage this afternoon.

Alp Ozkilic made a successful UFC debut over Darren Uyenoyama and returns to the thick of things in 32 days.

Ozkilic (9-1) will be going for his fifth straight win against Louis Smolka (6-0), a 22-year-old who is making his UFC debut. Smolka is a rangy, 125-pounder and is one of the tallest in the division at 5-foot-9. He has four submissions and 2 KO/TKOs. He won the PXC flyweight title last November when he defeated Ale Cali by TKO in the second round.

The fight is on the preliminary card for the Luke Rockhold-Costas Philippou middleweight main event and is scheduled to be the first bout aired on FOX Sports 1 (4 p.m. Central).
