Derrow vs Freeman - Main Event Rumble Time July
Undefeated local MMA prospect Zach Freeman will soon face his toughest test yet.
"The Altar Boy" faces Aaron "Daddy Long Legs" Derrow (12-3) in the Rumble Time Promotions main event July 27th at Ameristar Casino. The explosive Freeman (5-0) just cracked the Fight Matrix World rankings at # 381. Derrow, will bring to the cage a current world ranking of #106. The event will feature 12 amateur and professional bouts.
Derrow, who fights out of the Grindhouse in Kansas City, is no stranger to high profile fights having competed on Titan Fighting Championship multiple times with his biggest victory coming as a submission win over UFC-vet Rich Clementi.
Freeman is riding a wave of momentum in 2012 having made short work of his last two opponents. Freeman finished off Bryant Whitaker in just 26 seconds with a high-arm guillotine in April, and then defeated Charon Spain via rear naked in March. In Freeman's first five professional fights, not a single one has entered the second round.
Rumble Time has assembled a card that features several of the top local pros including Eric Irvin, Josh Sampo, Alex White, and Dan O'Connor, and fast rising amateurs like Travis Draper and Brandon Knight.
This will be the third Rumble Time MMA event of 2012 at the Ameristar Casino, and it will be the second filmed for airing on Fox Sports.
