Lights Out

In 2012 St. Louis MMA fans have witnessed some pretty memorable knock outs at local shows. Three that immediately come to my mind are; Chris Heatherly's head kick KO at Shamrock: Redemption in Februrary, Montuelle Prater's uppercut KO at Proving Grounds 8 in April and Ryan Cox's recent 11 second overhand right KO at the Brawl in the Ballroom on July 20th.

Tonight's show was no exception.

Fight fans at American Cage Wars - Battle 10 in Pacific witnessed yet another memorable knock out. Unfortunately for them, this time it was mother nature knocking out the last half of the show. Between the 9th and 10th fight of the evening storms moved through the area and knocked out the power. Staff with American Cage Wars, Bout Management Federation and the Pacific Eagles kept the crowd calm and informed them about the severe weather that was moving through. At around 10 pm Jim Smothers Jr. and company made the decision to postpone the show until 2 pm Sunday afternoon.
