Prime FS: Knockout

Under the new ownership of Doug Brown, and looking for a fresh start, Prime FS will re-debut on Saturday. Continuing the same formula previously, the amateur only fight league will look to build new stars, while featuring several youth bouts on the card.

On Saturday, Prime FS will move to it's new home at Matteson Square Gardens in St. Peters leaving the Afton Sports Center, home to all of their previous events. Matchmaker Kain Royer has put together a card with 10 amateur bouts and 6 youth exhibitions.

The main event features Watson's Martial Art's Jonathan Rosener facing Eric Ellington out of the Academy of Courage. Ellington has been virtually unstoppable as of late with heavy hands and a tenacious ground and pound game. Ellington has won two of his last three bouts with first round TKOs. If Rosener wants to find victory he's going to have to weather the storm from Ellington who comes out firing, but often cruises once he gets ahead.

Jared Medley and Brendan Raymer will swap leather in a featherweight K1 match-up. Medley was victorious two weeks ago at GFS 2 against Daniel Boyer. Medley damaged his opponents legs with powerful kicks that left him unable to continue.

Kevin Roper will take on Matt Gephart in a welterweight match-up. Roper likes to wrestle, and will ultimately try and take Gephart to the ground for his key to victory.

Sebastian Grant and Nathan Stearns will kick off the main card. Grant (3-0) has shown a ton of potential and has wins over Aushton Dickerson and Trevon Hinton, defeating Hinton with a first round TKO in his last trip to the cage.

Four MMA and two K1 fill up the undercard, and a preliminary made up of youth grappling and K1 matches kick off the show.
