Rumble Time Promotions - May Fight Card

Rumble Time returns May 3rd with Cinco De Mayhem at the Ameristar Casino. One of the area's premiere venues will host an event featuring professional and amateur MMA, kickboxing, and even a pro rules muay thai fight.

Matchmaker Mike Rogers has put together a solid card featuring a main event between Jake "The Prototype" Collier and Quartus Stitt.

Collier (6-1) is generally considered one of the area's best unsigned pros, and is riding a win streak that saw victories over James Wade, Sean Huffman, and Cully Butterfield. The Butterfield fight was the main event at the October Rumble Time and was a fierce test for Collier who was victorious by way of decision.

Stitt (5-5) was a highly decorated amateur who has a mixed record as a pro, winning two of his last three. He has losses to Ultiamate Fighter vet Neil Magny and RFA veteran Mike Rhodes.

Also on the card is a Pro Rules Muay Thai fight between Kirk Huff and Javon "Wolfman" Wright. This will be a six-round battle featuring kicks, elbows, and knees.

Huff made his professional MMA debut at the February Rumble Time, and recently returned from a trip to New York training with legendary trainer Phil Nurse. He'll need to be on top of his game to contend with Wright who is a proven striker with several TKO's as an amateur. Wright is creative, quick on his feet, and very elusive. This should be a good challenge for the more traditional striker Huff.

Three fighters will be making their professional debuts on this card include Shaine Moffitt from Destruction MMA, Jason Slattery from St. Charles MMA, and Harlan Feutral from Battleground MMA. Slattery vs Feutral will lead off the pro part of the card, while Moffitt will be stepping into the cage against veteran Jesse Thorton.

A full amateur card is also planned including a compelling matchup of Travis Draper, one of the area's top featherweight fighters, and Christian Camp from Springfield, MO who was recently victorious against Draper's teammate Jason Powell at the most recent Cage Champs.

Jesse Gerringer vs Heath Hildebrand will also highlight the amateur portio nof the card and will feature two of the top 5 welterweights in the area.
