Weekend Preview: March 16th & 17th

After a brief hiatus the weekend preview is back! There are three nearby events taking place that you should know about.

Tonight the Sport Fighting League and Rumble Time Promotions will join forces to present March Mayhem at Ameristar Casino. Four professional and three amateur MMA bouts plus four boxing matches fill up the card. An exciting night of fights planned with Sal "The One and Only" Woods taking on Garrett Gross from American Top Team & Animal House MMA in the main event. This event also concludes the Gateway to the Top tournament where one featherweight and one welterweight will be receiving a 2-fight pro contract with the Sport Fighting League.

Rumble Time Promotions will have four of their best young boxers on display with Leon Spinks III, Stephon Young, Ian Warren, and Chris Rapa taking to the ring.

Also tonight at the Machinists Hall in Bridgeton is Fearless Combat League. Making their promotional debut, FCL has 12 fights scheduled. Bouts include a Women's 120lb MMA title fight, a 155lb Muay Thai tournament, and three men's title fights. "Bad News" Bo Kunz will be taking on Shawn Tepen in the Main Event for the FCL light heavyweight title.

Saturday night in Fredericktown, Nemesis Fighting Alliance returns with Blackcat Bash. A full card of amateur mixed martial arts with all proceeds going to Project Graduation. In the main event Daniel Baynton will attempt to defend his Nemesis Featherweight title against tough challenger David Smith from Team Defiance. Also on the card is hard punching Bil Dwyer taking on Billy Turner, Justin Werts and Jason Figgemeier will also do battle.
